The rich grain of our exclusive antique Parquet reflects the fact that the wood is 19th century reclaimed antique oak beams with the original patina. The parquet is manually formed and pegged together into individual panels as it was done in the 17th and 18th century. European castles and properties of distinction during that time preferred the warmth and elegance of Parquet to marble flooring.
The discerning eye will appreciate the rich original grain in the antique parquet that cannot be replicated with newer wood. Each panel is individually wrapped in brown paper and plastic and shipped on a palette. It is easily installed using the original tongue and groove method. Our parquet is displayed in many rooms of our gallery as well as having been featured in our booth during antique shows. The parquet is offered in various sizes and shades.
