A charming and small scale pair of 19th Century French Transitional style, five drawer cabinets. The pair are raised by cabriole legs decorated by ormolu mounts. Each cabinet has five drawers, the top drawer with a herringbone design, the other four drawers with laurel branches bordered by a charmwood band and tulipwood background. The sides have a quarter veneered tulipwood inlay with a charmwood border. Above lays the original 'Breche D'Alep' marble top. All original hardware. Length: 14" Depth: 10" Height: 32"
