An attractive and large scale pair of French late 19th century Sevres style hand painted porcelain vases with an attractive gilt decoration. The pair has a stunning ‘pagode’ shape and a very elegant green painted background decorated by exquisite gilted floral garlands throughout. At the front is a finely detailed central reserve with a floral bouquet as well as at the neck and the removable lid. The back depicts a courting scene. The vases are flanked by very elaborated scrolling foliage shaped handles. Wonderful condition and colors. Length: 11.5" Depth: 7.5" Height: 20.5"
