A very elegant and richly detailed French late 19th Century Transitionsl st. tulipwood and ormolu mounts ‘Semanier’ with all original hardware. The semanier is raised by handsome cabriole legs with attractive ormolu sabots. The scalloped apron is decorated by a finely chased scrolled foliate shaped ormolu cartouche. Above are 7 drawers bordered by a charming boxwood filets, each with richly detailed ormolu handles at the center. The drawers are flanked by canted corners with ormolu chutes at the top. While the sides have a stunning quarter veneered inlay. At the top is the original edged peach marble
