A very attractive and high quality french mid 19th century louis xvi st. Patinated cobalt blue metal and highly chased mounted desk lamp. The lamp is raised by a triangular base raised by topie shaped legs. Above are 'c' scrolled supports with acanthus leaves topped by faces of maidens joined by floral garlands. The cobalt blue urn is decorated by a bottom finial and a circular pierced scrolled band. Above is the adjustable white pleated silk shade. All original gilt. Depth: 22" Height: 33"
