A handsome pair of 19th Century French Empire st. Bouilotte lamps in ormolu with painted metal shades. The pair have a pierced circular chased base with outer acanthus leaves and scrolled foliage. The fluted stem is below three 'C' scrolled arms ending with eagle heads supporting the candlecups. Above are the adjustable painted tole shades with a foliate gilt design. At the top is a wonderful feather finial. All original gilt. Depth: 16" Height: 27"
