A most charming pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and cut crystal ‘lyre’ shaped 5-light sconces. The pair is raised by a circular back plate, and has a central ‘bras de lumiere’ decorated by flower shaped crystals. On each side is a double light branches decorated by finely cut crystals. At the top is a stylized branch wrapped by an exquisite garland of crystal beads and drop shaped crystals at each end. All original gilt. Length: 14" Depth: 7.5" Height: 20"
