A spectacular and large scale French 19th century cobalt blue and ormolu mounted vase, signed “Sarregumines’. The vase is raised by impressive scrolled acanthus leaf shaped supports, centered by a burnished cabochon design. Above is an attractive tapering circular base with a finely chased fluted design and a berried laurel wreath. The vase has very detailed ormolu acorn leaf handles with a handsome youth mask. At the top is an important family armory designed pierced gallery. All original gilt. Length: 16" Depth: 11" Height: 20.5"
