A handsome and large scale pair of Italian 19th century Louis XV st. giltwood sconces. The pair have an impressive ‘S’ scrolled carved acanthus leave backplate, centered by a ‘C’ scroll support. The tapering carved stem ends with a circular bottom finial and an attractive foliate spray at the top. Above the bobeches are carved in a naturalistic manner, with off-white silk shades.
