An attractive and unusual French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany desk ‘A la Tronchin’. The desk is raised by square tapering legs with original ormolu sabots and castors. The straight apron is below a central drawer and at each side is a pull out forest green leather surface. Above the hinged ratcheted rising top has a fitted tooled green leather and mahogany bracket at the front. Wonderful quality throughout. Length: 35" Depth: 21" Height: 30/55.5"
