A most impressive French empire period ormolu mounted mahogany vanity table with original mirror plate. The table is raised by two front Corinthian columns and 2 square posterior supports joined by a ‘U’ shaped stretcher. The apron has a large drawer with most attractive ormolu mounts of allegorical scenes below a handsome marble top. Above is the exquisite mirror surrounded by an ormolu laurel leaf frieze flanked by two Doric mahogany columns. Length: 35.5" Depth: 21" Height: 70"
