A very high quality and elegant French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. tulipwood and kingwood , 1-drawer, center table/ desk. The table is raised by circular tapered legs with ormolu sabots and bands. The apron has a diamond shaped marquetry and is framed within a beaded ormolu border. Above each leg is an ormolu rosette. The top has the same marquetry inlay and is decorated by an ormolu gallery. Finished on all sides. Length: 39.5" Depth: 24" Height: 29"
