A very high quality, mid 19th century, circa. 1840, rectangular Louis XVI st. Mahogany, ormolu and brass decorated table/desk. The table is raised by circular tapered fluted legs with brass filettes in the flutes. The legs are also decorated by ormolu topie shaped sabots with ormolu bands. The apron has a drawer, with all original hardware. The top is decorated with a brass border. Fine mahogany throughout. Length: 34" Depth: 22" Height: 29"
