An elegant late 19th century French Louis XV st. tulipwood and kingwood buffet. The buffet is raised by cabriole legs and has an arbalest shaped front and bombee shaped sides. The scalloped shaped apron is below a central drawer with a quarter veneered tulipwood inlay bordered by kingwood. Each open side has a bottom and top tier decorated by an ormolu pierced gallery. Above are three drawers with all original ormolu keyhole escutcheons. Above is a wonderful thick moulded border marble top.
