A handsome and high quality medium scale French Louis XVI st. 19th century circa. 1870 mouchete mahogany and ormolu mounted buffet. The buffet is raised by tapered fluted legs ending with sabots below two central interlocking doors with a shelf inside. On each curved side is a bottom mahogany tier below a 'Vert de Maurin' marble tier decorated by a pierced ormolu gallery. A central drawer and a drawer on each side with ormolu handles and keyhole escutcheon. Above lays its original marble top. Length: 56" Depth: 20" Height: 41"
