A sensational and most impressive pair of mid 19th century circa. 1850 terra cotta lions with serpents. The lions are raised by a rectangular base. The crouching lions with expressive faces have one paw on top of a twirled serpent. Wonderful patina throughout and both are in wonderful condition. Length: 22" Depth: 43" Height: 26"
