An extremely elegant pair of early 19th century Italian walnut, ebonized and gilt, ‘D’ shaped, free standing consoles. The pair are raised by slender ‘S’ scrolled cabriole legs ending with ebonized hoof feet and a twisted ribbon designed trim. The frieze with wonderful grained walnut has an ebonized carved trim below the terra cotta colored fossilized marble top. Length: 41.5" Depth: 20.5" Height: 36"
