A very impressive 19th century Louis XVI st. Rouge Royal marble and ormolu urn. Raised on a marble base with canted corners and ormolu moulded band. The urn rests on four ormolu lion paw supports with scrolled acanthus leaf designs. The moulded spiral fluted urn has scrolled ormolu handles below the scrolled lip and lid which is topped with an acorn finial. All original gilt. Length: 9" Depth: 7" Height: 18.5"
