A very attractive French 19th century terra cotta bust of Marie Antoinette. Raised by a square moulded base Marie Antoinette is dressed in royal attire, including the ‘Fleur de Lis” shawl with a tassel and a cameo of Louis XVI. Her hair is decorated by flowers and tied by a band. Wonderful patina throughout. Signed ‘Lecomte’ and numbered 1285/1. Length: 15.5" Depth: 8.5" Height: 26"
