An impressive and large scale 19th century Italian white Carrera and 'Verde Alpi Cesana' marble mantle. The volute jambs are elegantly decorated with rectangular inserts of 'Verde alpi Cesana' marble below richly carved 's' scrolled capitals Supporting a frieze with a central green marble Cabochons in between two other inserts framed in moulded borders. The shelf has two circular ends with a fine and important moulded border. Length: 45/65.5" Depth: 12/17.5" Height: 33/42"
