An attractive 19th century French Louis XV St. 'Rosso Merlino' marble mantle. The volute jambs are supporting a swept frieze with a fine central carving of a central crest reserve in between a moulded border design. The bandeau is an arbalette shape. At the top lays a serpentine shaped shelf with a moulded border. Length: 52/65" Depth: 9/5.5" Height: 36/44"
