A very attractive 19th century Louis xvi st. giltwood mirror with its original beveled mirror plate. The sides have a moulded border decorated by intertwined carved rose garlands. At the top is an impressive richly carved central shell in a “Rocaille” design, flanked by 's' scrolled foliage and floral garlands. On each side of the shell is a square cut shape with scrolled acanthus leaves.
