A charming French 19th century Transitional Tulipwood, Kingwood and Exotic wood marquetry 'Bonheur du Jour' in two parts. The whole is raised on four cabriole legs and joined by a heavily inlaid tier with an exquisite marquetry of flowers and birds below one drawer with ormolu mounts. The top has two sliding doors below a fine 'Breche d' Alep' marble top with an ormolu gallery. Length: 31.5" Depth: 18.5" Height: 45.5"
