A handsome pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu candlesticks, with all original gilt. Raised by a square shaped base with canted corners. The impressive fluted column support is surrounded by an exquisite foliate wreath at the bottom, and large finely chased floral garland at the front. Above are 3 stunning legs with hoof shaped ends and ram heads at the top.
