An elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and cobalt glass vases with all original gilt. The pair are raised by an exquisite ormolu border with designs of laurel garlands and a 'guilloche' frieze. The baluster shaped cobalt blue glass is mounted by a very attractive ormolu medallion with a bow at the top. The finely chased medallion is surrounded by a lattice design, below a pierced ormolu border. Depth: 4" Height: 8.5"
