A very elegant and statement making, French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and baccarat crystal centerpiece with all original gilt. the oval shaped centerpiece is raised by four attractive ormolu supports joined by a scalloped straight apron with acanthus leaf design. The crystal is decorated on all sides by exquisite finely etched reserves of stylized branches with fluted borders, and a sensational sunburst shape design at the bottom. Above the centerpiece is a fanciful beaded frieze with an impressive large berried laurel wreath and bow, on each side Length: 15.5" Depth: 8.25" Height: 5"
