An exquisite and medium scale French 19th century Louis XVI st. oval shaped Baccarat crystal and ormolu centerpiece with all original gilt. raised by elegant paw supports topped by lion heads, the slightly scalloped ormolu apron is richly decorated by fine chasings. The ormolu medallions on the front and the back surround an elegant lattice design and are flanked by laurel branches. Above is a bow joining the 4 lion heads on a reeded designed ormolu border surrounding the handsome fitted thick baccarat crystal interior Length: 9.5" Depth: 6" Height: 4"
