An exquisite and finely chased French 19th century Louis XVI st. baccarat crystal and ormolu oval shaped centerpiece with all original gilt. The centerpiece has a very attractive ormolu base which is richly detailed with several stylized foliate borders. Below are 4 scrolling acanthus leaf shaped ormolu supports with a floral garland at each center. The Baccarat crystal bowl has a scalloped shape and very handsome reeded designed cut frieze surrounding the top. At the bottom is a fanciful star cut design Length: 12.5" Depth: 7" Height: 5"
