An early 19th century, circa. 1820, French mahogany and ormolu mounted transitional st. jardiniere. Raised by carved cabriole legs ending with ormolu sabots with a hoof design. The sides have recessed panels with ormolu borders. Both ends have a central ormolu rams head handle, and a drawer below. The inside is fitted with its original metal interior decorated by a top pierced ormolu gallery.
