An important and unusual French 19th century Louis xiv st., salmon veined grey faux marble, painted scagliola composite fountain, after an 18th century design and model. the fountain is raised by an exaggerated bombee shaped fish scale designed support with 's' scrolls. Above is the large 'd' shaped bassin with square corners and decorated by several mouldings. The architectural upper has an impressive mask issuing water from the mouth, flanked by doric style capitols. .All in perfect condition and ready to use. Length: 37.5" Depth: 21" Height: 68"
