A spectacular and rare pair of French mid 19th century Louis XV st. ormolu and porphyry, 4 arm candelabras, with all original gilt. Raised by a stunning pierced scrolled foliate designed ormolu base, the very attractive urn shaped porphyry support is surrounded by an exquisite gadrooned ormolu border. Above the urn are 4 scrolling naturalistic shaped ormolu branches with large detailed leaves. Each candlecup is made of 6 finely chased leaves, while the bobeches have a stylized foliate shape.
