An elegant and very decorative French 19th century Louis XV st. black lacquered armoire. Raised on a scalloped apron with finely chased ormolu mounts on each bracket support, above two doors decorated with a very detailed painted landscape, comprising of foliage, flowers and birds. Inside are three adjustable shelves. The rounded Corners have a soft lattice design topped by Fanciful ormolu mounts of an acanthus leaf design On the top lays a portor marble with a moulded edge.
