A superb and large scale 18th century Italian Lombardi free standing giltwood console. The console is raised by bun feet ornamented by large richly carved acanthus leaves. Above is a 'C' scrolled reeded stretcher supporting three charming cherubs with flowing drape holding acanthus leaf decorated capitals. The original Vert Patricia fitted marble top is bordered by a handsome egg and dart designed border amidst acanthus leaves. All original gilt and extremely decorative. — Read Less
