A very decorative medium scale pair of 19th century Chinese 'Famille Rose' porcelain vases. Each vase is raised by an ormolu square base with canted corners. The base has a scalloped frieze with chased panels on all sides below a laurel band. Above is the tapered cylinder Famille Rose vase with views of figures on the outside and floral designs on the inside, rendering it decorative even when empty.
