A stunning Italian early 19th century giltwood and Rouge Griotte marble rectangular center table. The table is raised on a pedestal with four scrolled feet, opulently decorated with carvings of masks and large acanthus leaves. The fut above displays twisted floral garlands and beads. The very impressive pierced frieze is decorated with scrolls, foliate, shells and cabochons. The molded apron has a beaded border below the thick Rouge Griotte marble top.
