An exceptional and most elegant pair of French turn of the century Louis XVI st. giltwood and crystal sconces attributed to Maison Bagues. Each sconce is centered by a fine circular mottled giltwood backplate from where the striking wonderfully executed branches with charming most decorative crystal leaves set on silvered leaf backgrounds branch up and downwards. The two lovely scrolled arms branch outwards leading to fine floral bobeches and unique glass candle cups. All original gilt throughout.
