A handsome Portuguese 19th century Rosewood and brass coffee table. The rectangular coffee table is raised by wonderful and extremely decorative turned mottled legs with fine brass casters with scrolled ionic capital like designs. Above each leg are beautiful chevron designed reserves flanking the straight frieze decorated with a fine reeded beaded band and three drawers at the front, three drawers at the back and two faux drawers at each side each decorated with striking pierced scrolled foliate designed brass plaques. The top showcases the beautiful Rosewood grain framed within a delicate reeded border. All original hardware and patina throughout. — Read Less
