A stunning and extremely high quality Italian 19th century white Carrara marble statue of five cherubs on a 19th century Carrara marble pedestal and limestone base. The statue is raised by an impressive rectangular white Carrara marble pedestal with a fine mottled border at the base and two striking circular baluster shaped supports with beautiful fluted and foliate designs. The rectangular display tier also displays lovely foliate designs and a fine mottled border. The statue above displays a ribbon at the front amidst tied berried laurel branches with a wonderfully executed ground designed base with a fallen sword, arrows and a shield amidst exceptional finely detailed blooming flowers, lovely foliage, and tree trunks.
