An impressive Italian mid 19th century Alabaster, Rouge Royale, and Rouge de Verone marble centerpiece. The centerpiece is raised by an elegant Rouge de Verone marble base and mottled block feet with three handsome crouched lions, one with the scale of justice in its mouth and the other two with declaration pages. Separating each lion are three elegant fitted ormolu candle holders with a lovely circular mottled and octagonal design centering the impressive circular mottled Brocatelle Jaune du Jura marble column with a fine beaded design and the name “Filangieri” inscribed. Above is the bust of 18th century Italian justice and philosopher Gaetano Filangieri dressed in advocate attire with a bow tie and raised on a mottled Rouge Royal marble support. — Read Less
