A fine quality French 19th century Louis XVI style mahogany and ebony buffet. The buffet is raised by circular fluted tapered legs ending with ormolu sabots. Above the straight frieze are four paneled doors with inlaid ebony trim and mottled border, the sides are decorated the same. In between each door are rectangular fluted columns leading to the top while at each end are solid circular fluted columns. The drawers above with recessed mottled panels are centered by impressive elongated berried laurel shaped ormolu drawer pulls. At the top lays its original Vert Patricia marble top following the contours of the outer columns. Rich patina throughout. — Read Less
