A sensational and unique Italian 19th century faux marble, giltwood and patinated brown polychrome oval center table. The table is raised by four 'S' scrolled legs decorated by gilt acanthus leaves all above a patinated background. The top of each support has a whimsical masculine mask while at the end of the support is a gilt ball. The bottom of the central fut is richly decorated by fanciful and large scaled acanthus leave below large and bold 'C' scrolls with the same patinated and gilt finish.
