A very beautiful 19th century Swiss rosewood round center table. Raised on three 'S' scrolled legs with wonderful reeded and acanthus leaf carvings. The legs, with original brass castors, are joined by a tripod stretcher with a rocaille carving between each leg. The stretcher is centered by an urn of prosperity and surrounded by three spiraled supports. Above a lovely scalloped apron with lattice background trimmed with intricately detailed acanthus leaf scrolls and alternating rocaille carvings.
