A sensational and unique Italian 19th century patinated and gilt Venetian mirror. The mirror has a bottom mottled band with a most impressive carved foliate spray amidst gilt 'S' and C' scrolls. The two side panels are decorated by recessed mottled columns. The top curved crown has a wavelike design below gilt scrolls and a top central pierced reserve.
