A highly detailed and richly carved 19th century Swiss tilt top walnut oval side table with rich patina throughout. The table is raised by a tripod base with 'S' scrolled supports with pierced carvings of foliage and flowers. The central turned fut has a bottom finial and carved acanthus leaves. The delicate and intricately carved pierced frieze has scrolled designs with leaves and flowers. The tilt top above has a mottled border with extensive and detailed hand painted hunting scenes. The central large decorative medallion is of hunters on a rock ledge trying to hunt deer.
