A handsome French 18th century Louis XV period Walnut Vaisselier buffet. The six door three drawer buffet is raised by elegant stout cabriole legs with a fine carved fillet at the border which extends along the scalloped frieze centered by a lovely foliate and floral reserve. The three doors each display beautiful richly carved scrolled foliate designs framed within a lovely most decorative mottled border with iron hinges and pierced foliate keyhole escutcheons. The three drawers display recessed panels with additional lovely foliate designs, handsome iron pulls, and keyhole escutcheons. The top displays three elegant elongated doors also decorated with richly carved scrolled foliate designs as well as six display shelves. At the center of the beautiful scalloped top crown is the original clock with a white enameled clock face with Roman numeral hour markings and signed Le Pendulier Comtois Beaufort Jura with the central door opening to reveal the pendulum.
