A handsome French 18th century Louis XVI period honey colored Oak cabinet. The Deux Corps cabinet is raised on circular bun feet below the straight frieze and two lower cabinet doors displaying recessed mottled panels with corner rosettes. The upper portion of the cabinet showcases two stunning doors with elegant recessed panels decorated in the same manner as the lower portion of the cabinet. The bottom of the doors are adorned with two additional lower panels displaying exceptionally carved foliate garlands, with a central laurel garland decorating the center of the cabinet from top to bottom. All doors have all of their original brass hinges, keyhole escutcheons, and locks. The interior of the cabinet is made up of one shelf in the lower section and three shelves in the upper. At the top is the mottled concave crown. All original and rich patina throughout. — Read Less
