An elegant and very high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Kingwood, Mahogany, ormolu, and Arabescato marble center/side table attributed to François Linke. The table is raised by circular tapered fluted legs with fine fitted foliate ormolu sabots and beautiful mottled top caps. Above each leg are finely detailed pierced foliate ormolu corner mounts flanking the straight frieze. The frieze displays one drawer decorated with an exceptional pierced fitted ormolu plaque of beautiful richly chased scrolled Rinceau foliate designs with charming birds eating grapes off of a vine, stunning swaging blooming flower garlands, and Bacchanalian cherubs playing horns centering the tied ribbon keyhole escutcheon with a bagpipe and a pan flute also repeated at the back.
