A beautiful and extremely elegant French early 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated wood and St. Anne des Pyrénées marble console. The freestanding console is raised by fine ball feet with carved acanthus leaves below elegant circular tapered fluted legs. Each leg is connected by a striking stretcher with beautiful block rosette reserves and concave fluted designs with an impressive richly carved central urn. Above each leg are additional block rosettes and stunning intricately detailed swaging floral garlands which extend along the apron. An elegant carved interlocking design also extends along the apron and is centered by a charming tied ribbon and luxuriant floral wreath. Above is the original St. Anne des Pyrénées marble top with a fine mottled border. All original rich patina throughout. — Read Less
