A stunning and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period porcelain and ormolu urns. Each urn is raised by three elegant topie shaped feet and one beautiful lightly curved central support with fine palmettes designs. The central socle shaped ormolu pedestals display wrap around foliate designs flanked by beautiful scrolled elements adorned with richly chased acanthus leaves and connected by swaging berried laurel garlands. The porcelain bodies above display finely detailed hand painted maiden at the centers flanked by charming foliate designs on striking gold tooled backgrounds. Impressive Greek key designed handles lead up each side with richly chased acorn finials and elegant draped berried laurel garlands. The lightly curved necks display additional gold tooled designs and striking top acorn finials with finely detailed wrap around foliate bands. All original gilt throughout. — Read Less
