A charming and high quality pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. ormolu and patinated bronze two arm sconces. Each sconce is centered by an elegant tapered back plate in the shape of a quiver with a fine bottom acorn finial and the impressive eternal flame above. Beautiful rinceau shaped scrolled foliate designs lead up to the charming cherubs at the centers. Each richly chased cherub is leaning forward while holding intricately detailed snakes in each arm with foliate candle cups. A unique model with original gilt throughout. — Read Less
